An ImmerGo system can be used to localize sound sources in clubs and other types of live shows. The location of sounds can be controlled as the show progresses, or soundscapes can be recorded and played back during a show. 

Clubs: In the case of clubs, the output of DJ software can be directed to the AVB network. Either SPK4 AVB speakers or NDAC-8 AVB audio interfaces can extract the audio tracks and localize the tracks. The localization of the tracks can be controlled by the DJ from the ImmerGo software running on a mobile device. 

Horizontal movement can be via the touch screen, while there can be vertical movement by tilting the mobile device. Complete 3D control is also possible by tilting and swiveling the mobile device.

Live Sound:  Bus outputs from a live sound mixing console can be fed to any audio interface attached to a workstation alongside the console. The inputs from the audio interface can be directed to tracks within a DAW. These tracks, together with any other backing tracks can be sent to the AVB network.  Either SPK4 AVB speakers or NDAC-8 AVB audio interfaces can extract the audio tracks and localize the tracks. The localization of the tracks can be controlled by the sound engineer from the ImmerGo software running on a mobile device or the workstation. 

A further possibility is to control  immersive panning via the mixing console. Many mixing console manufacturers enable control over all parameters in the mixing console via their own proprietary control protocols. Also, these control messages are often sent via an Ethernet connection from a workstation to the console. Instead of sending mix levels to speakers/audio interfaces on an Ethernet ABV network, ImmerGo is able to send mix messages directly to the mixing console using manufacturer specific formats.
